RIP Wicked Courtjester

1989 – 2023

Wicked Courtjester was an exceptional pony. Part of the Feakins Family for 24 beautiful years, he brought an indescribable energy to the farm from the moment he first arrived from Holland in 1999.

He was the ultimate gentleman- strong, graceful, handsome, and kind. And yet, he was also very much a pony- cheeky, playful, and full of personality. He was incredibly athletic with undeniably elegant movement and a bold presence. With an established show career in jumping and dressage in Holland, he could fly just as high as the big boys.

Wicked was known for passing on his lovely temperament, trainability, and exceptional athleticism as well as his beautiful face and "kind eye” to all of his offspring.

Wicked had the ability to command attention, but he was also very sweet and gentle, especially with children and other animals. He loved to chase Amish buggies at the top of his field on Sundays, and he loved being groomed and fussed over. You could dress him up for birthdays or holidays, and you could often find him sneaking a cuddle  and a banana from one of the girls in the barn.

As the backbone of our breeding program, Wicked proved to be one of the top Sport Pony Stallions in the country. He had an enormous presence at Trevelyan Farm and beyond. He was known throughout the industry and has left lasting hoofprints on the hearts of many. He leaves behind an unmatched legacy at the very respectable age of 34.

We love you, Wicked Courtjester. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

May you rest in peace.
